Western Aviation Service Corp. was legally established in 1976 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and has been operating for 30 years at the Rafael Hernandez Airport.

In 1976, Western Aviation Service Corp. began operating with only 8 employees and $50,000 of ground handling equipment. Today, Western Aviation has 250 fully qualified employees, 15 supervisors, and over 3 million dollars of ground equipment. We are one of the oldest FBOs in the Caribbean, celebrating 30 years of the best service at the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico Airport. When you fly in the Caribbean, you can save time and money using our FBO facilities.

We are located on the northwest corner of Puerto Rico. Our airport has the longest runway in the Caribbean (11,700 feet). BQN/TJBQ is a port of entry authorized by the United States. There are US Customs, US Immigration, and USDA Facilities from Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 7:00pm. If you arrive from the United States, Customs clearance is not necesarry since Puerto Rico is US Territory.

If you desire to stay in Puerto Rico for some days, we can arrange lodging in a variety of beautiful hotels in the island, as well as auto rental, fuel, and other services found at the FBO. We have lounge facilities for the flight crew, as well as 62,000 square feet of hangar space and 120,000 square feet of open ramp.

We have more than 250 employees dedicated to servicing airlines such as Jet Blue, Continental Airlines, PanAm, and others. Western Jet Center is designed to offer tranquility before and after your flight, for the passangers and crew.
